Reseach at the Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools is focused on the manufacturing processes, machines and their controls, as well as the organization around the manufacturing process. Cross-divisional research fields are also investigated at the IFW. We conduct research on a project basis, always with the solution of problems in mind.
